Engagement Models
Three engagement models — Capture Readiness Assessment (1–2 weeks fixed fee), Retained Advisory (quarterly), Embedded Capture (milestone-based). Scoped outcomes, not hours.
Three ways to engage
Engagements are scoped to outcomes. Choose the model that matches the decision you need to make — a one-shot readiness check, a quarterly cadence, or a deep capture push tied to a specific solicitation.
Models
- Capture Readiness Assessment — One to two weeks, fixed fee. Written brief and executive readout on a specific capture, market, or readiness question. The front door for most clients — used to test a hypothesis or de-risk a go/no-go before larger commitment.
- Retained Advisory — Quarterly retainer. Monthly briefings, ad-hoc questions, market-signal monitoring, and executive-level prep. Senior capture judgment on retainer instead of a VP of Capture you cannot yet justify.
- Embedded Capture — Milestone-based engagement tied to a specific solicitation. Pre-solicitation positioning, capture-artifact production, teaming-partner mapping, proposal red-team review. Limited to two concurrent pursuits.
Pricing and scope
Fixed fees on the Readiness Assessment; flat quarterly retainers on advisory; milestone-based pricing on embedded capture. Every engagement begins with a mutual NDA and a written one-page scope. References available under NDA.
