Practice Areas
Three defense-market verticals: Defense Primes & Subs, Dual-Use Technology, Small Business & SBIR. Each focused on the burden small teams cannot afford to carry alone.
Where we work
We focus on three verticals where Pentagon-side experience and Hill engagement compound. Each has a different acquisition rhythm and a different center of gravity for decisions — and a different shape of pressure on the small teams inside them.
Verticals
- Defense Primes & Subs — For subs worried about being squeezed, absorbed, or outmaneuvered by a larger team. Program-of-record positioning, teaming strategy with IP firewall, proposal red-team review, and Hill-side signal interpretation for major weapon systems and platforms.
- Dual-Use Technology — For commercial companies that have real technology but no time to learn the DoD maze the hard way. Pre-solicitation positioning, OTA/CSO pathway selection, SBIR/STTR transition, and culture-translation between Silicon Valley and Pentagon.
- Small Business & SBIR — For owners trying to win defense work without letting compliance, capture, and proposal demands swallow the company. SBIR Phase II/III strategy, contract-vehicle selection, CMMC 2.0 readiness, and small-business set-aside positioning.
What we decline
We decline non-defense work, lobbying-style influence, lobbyist-of-record arrangements, and engagements with competing bidders on the same program. We also decline pure proposal-writing work — we advise, we don't ghost-write.
